I don't quite get how she suddenly became so famous!

I think she looked much prettier in the Dark Angel days...she was much less bony.


Now almost everyone is obsessed with her and I mean of course, the girl is obviously hott but she's a bit plain and she's kinda petite..Not your typical bombshell.

I'm not really sure why she's so famous, I think the only thing I've ever actually watched with her in it is Sin City.
And personally, I don't think she's all that gorgeous.

its because american men have a fasination with "exotic" women. even when they arent exotic. basically dark hair and olive skin with land you a FHM cover and then you're famous.

Dark Angel was actually pretty popular during the time. i hated the show though.

never been kissed and idle hands put her in the teen scene and then from there she became the teen who turns into the hot piece of ass that will sell a crappy movie.

so it makes sense shes famous. she picks the right parts to atleast get her name around for a little bit every year or so

I dont get it either. She's so bland and boring. & her films suck.

I liked the first Season of Dark Angel, the second was a waste.
If anyone claims Jessica isn't that good looking, I Don't get that!
But she really hasn't had a chance to do any complex acting since the first season of DA

On a sports board I post on she's by far the most popular female celeb.

I think she's hot, and that's probably why she's famous; looks and looks alone.
Even Alba is tired of it, as she now refuses to appear nude or semi-nude in films and has made it very clear that she wants better quality movie roles.
Whether or not that will happen only time can tell.

She definitely isn't ugly. She's hot but her acting sucks. Then, again, good acting doesn't always mean popularity.

I think she's pretty boring. I think i've only seen her act in Sin City and i didn't think much of her on screen. The other girls in the movie were hotter. She does seem famous for not doing much at all, i often see pictures of her on gossip sites but there's never anything substantial written about her.

That's true. I didn't even know she was "latin" until I read it in a magazine. She just looks like a brunette white girl with a fake tan. But if you aren't blonde and stereotypically california beach girl looking (which isn't accurate, btw, if you actually go to the beach out here, especially where I live) you get called exotic. I've been called "exotic" when I'm tan and I'm definitely far from it, I just have the long dark hair.

I think she's pretty. Her body is nice but as all women know, not as nice as FHM covers make her out to be. There's a lot of pushuping going on. She has a good stylist, definitely, though. She got more press for being the people or us weekly (I forget) style icon than she has for any movie.
