WHAT THE FUCK WAS THAT??? I just watched on HBO LatinAmerica. I didn't get to see the show OBVIOUSLY but from what I saw it must've been spectacular.

I have mixed feelings about the editing though. I personally LOVED the editing of the concert bits in I'm going to tell you a secret because it was so orginal and different and it still felt like a show, but I think with Confessions maybe they over did it.

It doesn't feel like a live show at all. The editing is so fast and there's so much visual overload you can't really see anything. I don't think you get a notion of what the show was. It's way too fast and way too many elements.

It's different but I think ultimately they did a disservice to the show because it doesn't look like a show, it's more like an art installation, or something Warhol would've made or something, I don't know. Maybe that was the point. Anyway Madonna is extraordinary.

are you talking about the songs that were cut out of the broadcast? or their actual production of the entire show?

you can NEVER capture a live show on film the way that it is meant to be seen in person. i, of course, saw Confessions live (twice, against the catwalk ) and think the filming was a pretty good representation of what i saw. the intro/future lovers was excellent... let it will be was one of my favorite moments of the show (in person and on the broadcast).... music inferno was just awesome....... and on and on.

so yeah, next time go see her in person.... you have no idea what youre missing (and trust me, you dont).

I liked the broadcast, it was great, it just wasn't a live show, it morphed into something else.

Some bits were too much, like the videos occupying the whole screen, I mean some parts were just too much.

Lve in London was on channel 4 the other week. I found the beginning really boring. I agree that "Let it will be" was the best bit. Lovin the "oops, I tripped" dance.

my favorite part was Like A Virgin. Those synthetizers and new arrangements, it was just amazing. And I loved the whole "yes I fell of a horse and I moved on" vibe of it.

Erotica was simply beautiful, and for the first time it was actually sexy.

Music was spectacular, and I just LOVED Cloud, he's gorgeous. Is he gay by the way??

Great show but until I see Re Invention, Drowned World remains the best.
