| | | Does Halle count? Isn't her mom or dad white or half white or something like that?
Anyway,
Butterfly McQueen, Prissy from Gone With The Wind!
Love that movie!
I don't know nothin' 'bout birthin' babies
NVM:
Halle Berry was born on August 14, 1966 in Cleveland, Ohio, USA to African American father Jerome Berry, a former hospital attendant, and Caucasian mother Judith Berry, a retired psychiatric nurse.
So i'm still wondering does she count?

I think she came out of Gigli okay due to the sheer (relative) awfulness of B-Aff. Maid in Manhattan was even travestier (new word!) because she dragged Ralph Fiennes down to somewhere near her level.
However the big strop she threw as Selena wanting to ride the rollercoaster was awe-inspiring. I wonder if she went method and actually rode a rollercoaster and everything?
Do animals count as non-white actresses?

| | Jada Pinkett- Menace II Society (also check out 'Jason's Lyric')
and I know you guys are talking about movies, but Erika Alexandar was really fucking funny on the show "Living Single". It's still kinda crazy to me that she's not as famous as Queen Latifah (not that Queen Latifah doesn't deserve her fame becaue she does, but Erika Alexandar deserves it too dammit! )
Oh well, I'll put her in one of my films myself. |
