| | | I liked the book and the animated version. I wonder if they'll do this version justice. Plus Dakota's in it! Yay! |

| | I have really high expectations for this movie and will definately go to the movies to see it..perhaps on a date or something besides i most definately feel obliged!!!..as one of my mates did the animation for it(he also worked on the new superman)..his opinion is that it kicks ass over the cartoon version but isnt superior to the book!!
but really what movie ever is???
I have great kiddy memorys of the cartoon (havent seen it in so long) but I actually read the book recently as soon as I knew he was working on it!!!
and i have to admit it made me cry and is pretty emotive & impressive...
the negative thing with me though is that i find... usually is that childhood memorys of movies or books often become distorted with a holier than thou attitude and in most cases i end up being really disapointed..ie i watched the dark crystal, pippy long stocking and return 2 oz recently and they by no means lived up to my expectations...then again those movies are old now and if re-hashed could be brilliant if portrayed well..
mehhh im am rambling....but to get back to topic I actually saw a preview for it tonight and i must admit im peeing my pants with excitment..the inner child in me say's YIPPEDITY DOO DAAAAAAAAA

*Edit*
Julia Roberts, Oprah Winfrey, John Cleese, Steve Buscemi, Cedric The Entertainer, Reba McEntire, Kathy Bates, Thomas Haden Church and Andre Benjamin (Andre 3000) are all aboard with Gary Winick (13 Going on 30) at the helm.
The feature is scheduled to begin production on January 31st in Melbourne, Australia and finds Julia Roberts in the lead role of Charlotte A. Cavatica, a spider and heroine of the book who goes out of her way to save Wilbur the pig's life by weaving miraculous words into her webs.
Oprah Winfrey will voice Gussy, the barn's maternal yet irreverent goose; John Cleese as Samuel the sheep; Steve Buscemi as the barn's sardonic Rat Templeton. Cedric The Entertainer will play opposite Oprah as the other Goose - Golly. Reba McEntire and Kathy Bates will voice the barn's ironic cows; Betsy and Bitsy and Thomas Haden Church will voice Brooks, one of two dimwitted crows opposite Andre Benjamin (Andre 3000) as Elwyn the other crow.

| | | I think the original film, as well as the book, is just fine without this new interloper. I refuse to watch any Dakota Fanning films until after she OD's.

A collection of set pieces that don't hang together at all. I still think Fairuza Balk should post here.
Oh, and apparently she's fucked David Thewlis! I just wiki'ed.
