Yeah I hope he's in it too. I wonder if any of them will have kids now or are married. I havent come to the end of series 2 yet so don't correct me if this has already happened

would be great if egg was a fat wheezing old man, anna president of the world, miles was in jail, milly overdosed on feminax and dead, kira a high court judge, warren has had a stefan dennis like pop career and ferdy exactly the same as he is now

I loved This Life. The dvd of the series has just been released in Australia and I am sooo tempted.

I've been watching the repeats...it's SO brilliant and funny and sad and sweet and cynical - i love it just as much now as i did then. In fact it's just about to come on so i'd better go...

Did you hear the premise of the reunion show is that they are all meeting up to attend one of the gang's funeral?!?! I know who it's meant to be too...if what i heard is true. But i won't tell and spoil it. I cannot wait...*sigh*

I fricking missed it cos i had my work Xmas party - boooo! The finale is AWESOME!!! I should just buy the series...i don't know what i'm playing at...

I loved the dning. I thought someone would ahve died or someone. Was so good when Warren walked in and watched what was going on.

IT was alright. I wasnt a massive fan anyway, but it passed the time and made me all 90's nostalgic.

Yeah with all the 90s songs they played. It was okay.

when they were dancing to the manics i got chills. I dont even like the manics.

i remember that Egg once stayed late at his cafe cleaning it up and he was listening to the EVERYTHING MUST GO album.

PLUS they played a Portishead track and they ALWAYS played Portishead.

yeah, the dancing to the manics bit was quite a moment. A DESIGN FOR LIFE is quite a song though. anthem-y like.

the more i think about this, the worse it was.
the ending most of the characters got was pretty satisfying i felt inititally. then i thought about the quality overall. the pacing of the original which i watched avidly on the recent bbc2 repeats was rather excellent and character development took place over dramatic events. now milly threatens divorce, warren takes an overdose, the bailiffs come etc.
i also missed the framework of the court cases and law careers but that's an inevitable criticism i suppose
i didn't like- anna's crying and begging for sperm because she needs a child to be truly fulfilled, the writing of miles' wife, or of the stupid debate egg and miles had, or the bizarre idea of warren and ferdy together for five years. and i wondered if egg was oscar's dad
i liked the acting. and the miles/anna conclusion was basically perfect. i thought that you could recognise continuities between characters but also how they'd inevitably changed.
