Alright. I finally rented this film. This is definitely my new obsession. Halfway through, I was guessing at the ending and I was totally surprised by how everything played out. What an amazing film with amazing performances. I like how there was only instrumental music until I think the last scene. Most films I like have lots of songs through the whole thing, but I was really impressed how the film was so focused on exactly what was going on onscreen.

The greatest asset they all have is themselves. And yet does anybody promote that to them? Does anybody tell them that they are the greatest asset they have? Or are they steered to idol worship? Are they moved, are they motivated, are they inspired to look at the president or any politician as their only salvation? If they are, it's just a shame.

The only thing I enjoyed about this film was Maggie Gyllanhal.....seeing her bent over that desk! DAMN!

wasn't there a scene where he's feeding her oats from the palm of his hand?
