yet I can't stop watcing it. It's such an addictive show. Yet it's so mediocre. All the people in there, the judges and the photographers, they are just mediocre never-will-be's. Look at the pictures for instance, they ALL look the same, yet they never use the same photographer twice.

A real artist photographer has her unique style that comes acroos always, so etiehr they are not letting their personal style come across, or they are just lame photographers. It's not like Mario Testion is ever going to appear on that show. He is way above everyone on that show.

And they make it seem like the quality of the picture depends solely on the model and that is so false.

And I think that the show might be staged or something. It's like the fat girl, Diane, they eliminated her because she didn't show her curves, yet her pictures were so over retouched, that you could barely tell she had any.

It's just a lame and ridiculous show. And it sucks that they have Twiggy in there. She is one of the few icons who managed to age gracefully, that was until she appeared on the show. Now she's in Janice "Has been aging disgracefully" Dickinson territory.

And Tyra Banks is SO RIDICULUOUS AND CHEAP!! It's like she has no class. She is just the embodiment of the white trashness that is Ameircan's Next Top Model.

Naomi was on Tyra's talk show, and Tyra was all like "You are one of the reasons why I left the fashion business." I was like, GROW UP BITCH. Naomi is everything Tyra wishes she could be, because unlike Tyra, Naomi is a REAL supermodel. Tyra's never been on the cover of American Vogue, and that is the litmus test of a true supermodel. Yeah she was on the cover of some Italian Vogue but that hardly counts.

Plus Tyra(nt) has a jealous personality. When Nenna (beautiful African girl from last season, cycle 6), was on the show, Tyra did everything to make fun of her and put her down. She was bar none prettier than the girl who won, but Tyra hates the competition.

Another thing of note is the fact that the entire model's apartment is covered in pictures of..guess who? TYRA! As if Tyra were the only model on earth, right? Puhlease.

And you are right, I mean Naomi is a true supermodel, she's been on the cover of almost everything, and going on Tyra's show was pretty low of her, but she would never resort to the lame low life tactics of Tyra, like you say, decorating the house with all her photos. That is so egotistical it's totally lauhgable. Tyra is a joke.

The Tyra Banks show is one of the funniest things i've ever seen.

Her fake crying every 3 seconds & that weird runway thing she makes a point of walking up & down on every episode.

Oh, she is a lot more than one step ahead. I've always thought that Naomi was one of the most beautiful women alive, and she has been a highly respected icon in the fashion industry for a long time now. She is high fashion. Tyra, on the other hand, was always the Victoria Secret model with big tits. Heidi Klum, also known for the Victoria Secret and Sports Illustrated swimsuit spreads, has managed to have loads more respect than Tyra, and I'm not even talking about their tv shows yet.

Ok, now I'll talk tv shows.
I had no idea just how trashy Tyra could be until I saw her host her shows. She is awful. Her eye fluttering and feigned emotions are gross; they're not even kitchy fun. I'm not quite sure who would have been in the position to tell her that she would be good at hosting tv shows, but that person should be fired. The woman just can't read lines- she puts emphasis on every other word regardless of what she's saying simply because it sounds more dramatic or serious (I guess). Ugh, I really can't stand her.

But I do watch America's Next Top Model. I don't think I ever argued that the show was quality. It's like that Rockstar show I was hooked on- it was pretty lame, but I still loved watching it every week. Both shows are ranked way under Project Runway, but they somehow got me more addicted. Maybe because Project Runway is supposed to be a "quality reality tv show," and I don't think that's what reality shows are about. Or maybe because finding people with cable is a pain in the ass. Anyway, I don't hate ANTM but I don't think it's particularly good either- it's just really fun. And I can't stand Tyra. Ok I'm done.

I completely agree. Tyra is NOT high fashion. She's a catalogue model actually. I think that's more like it. Her celebrity stems from the trashy reality shows.

What really bugs me is that she's trying to pass as a high fashion model, like Naomi and she's nothing of the sort.
