The problem is that there are so fe good horror movies that the good ones have already been watched by most people.
If you want to watch some pleasantly suprising bad ones go for Curtains, Silent Night Deadly Night, Prom Night 3, Halloween 4, Troll 2, etc | what he said! |

| | | Yes to Pet Sematary. I love that movie.
Also SESSION 9 - best horror/thriller ever. The Ring (personally i like the US version the best), It, The Legend of Hell House, Nightwatch, Dead End (it's a horror comedy but it's really good), The Others, Psycho, Puppet Master and last but not least, Candyman. |

It was a little bit clumsy, but I think it's the best movie about reality show I have seen. |

| | | They're not really scary, but I love all the old Universal monsters movie like Dracula and Karloff's Frankenstein and The Creature and The Wolfman... Some of them even manage to creep me out even though they had minimal sfx... Probably something to do with the sets and the cinematography... |

| | | the hills have eyes has to be the shittiest movie ive ever seen. my sister said it was so bad its the only movie she ever walked on out in the theater. i rented it anyways and stopped watching it half way through. pure waste of time. not even scary. just bloody. i hate when "horror" movies are just gross and not scary at all. |

| | | my top 5 all time favourite horror movies would have to be
1) friday the 13th (part 1)
2) texas chainsaw massacre (original)
3) the shining
4) nightmare on elm street (part 1)
5) saw (the first one)
yes i'm serious about saw. i really, really loved it. i can't wait for the 3rd one to come out later on this year.
but really, i just love horror movies and would watch pretty much anything in this cateogry, no matter how awful it is.
does 28 days later count as a horror movie? it is about zombie-ish beings. i just don't think it's all that "scary", because cillian murphy is so attractive that it really takes focus away from the evil.
but i really liked that movie as well.
AND i have to include jacob's ladder. it's not really much of a horror movie in the traditional sense, but it is really unsettling and just completely insane, and everyone should watch it.

| | Lady Violet,
I could never pull a top 5 favourite... But
The (original) Texas Chainsaw Massacre is just pure insanity, gory, gruesome, and plain petrifyingly scary.
And yes, 28 Days Later counts... r u kidding!? Could you just imagine if that was you put smack dab in the middle of those circumstances? Hell No | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
