I've been completely obsessed with Warhol, New York sixties and the superstars for a couple years now. Ive read EDIE by Jean Stein about four times now and this time I'm highliting parts. It was such a decadent time and all the key players were completely fucking nuts.

There was a two part (five hour) American Masters Documentary about him on pbs last week. The first part was three hours long. It was about his childhood and early years in New York. The second part was about the factory years and the 'Superstars' and the Valerie Solanas stuff. Some parts were boring (it should've been a lot shorter). But there was a lot of old footage that made sitting through the dragging parts worth it.
