it opens October 6th here in America and i am so excited. i really liked the remake of the first one, but i didn't care for the original or its sequels.

| | | I thought the remake was a piece of shit. Even though alot of these new remakes have the technology on their side, they never have the charm of the original no matter how hokey it looked. |

And usually the actors playing the new characters suck too. Not that people go to see horror flicks for Oscar performances, but The Hills Have Eyes, The Fog, When a Stranger Calls, all great examples of what I mean.
And the whole remaking of Japanese extreme horror flicks, don't even get me started. I love the horror genre but studios and directors have become just plain lazy its all about the $$$ and nothing else.

And how come there's barely any original horror movies? We need new stuff not rehashes |

| | | omg what?
why??
is this like a prequel? that's so wrong. the original chainsaw massacre is a classic. they should stop messing with the classics.

| | | I'm not a major fan of the original versions, but I love the remake series (and the comic book adaptation is interesting too). |
