its been sucking for a bunch of seasons now, but i could always find at least something funny each episode.

the new episode was unforgivable though. this stupid fucking show gets no more of my charity. i can't defend it anymore.

and because the old episodes play fifty times a day, i'm sick of them too. it's all gotten very tired.
i hope the movies bombs.

this show needs to go away for about twenty years. then i might be ready to consider it as classic once again.

i haven't been able to sit through a whole episode since 2001. they always carry on some stupid joke way to long or something makes me cringe and i have to shut it off.

so this one really sucked, huh? i take a perverse pleasure in reading about each and every fan they've alienated by dumbing the show down to the lowest common denominator.

yeah, i think it's going to be out next summer. there's apparently a trailer for it floating around, but i haven't seen it yet.

Unfortunately I agree with you. I haven't been able to watch it since about 1999 or 2000. It's just such a '90s fixture; it hasn't adapted to the post-2000 decade at all.
I still adore the old episodes though. But yeah, I reckon the movie will flop.

Ive stopped watching the simpsons for about a year now. I used to be able to sit through a episode and it would make me laugh...Im a bit bored of it now. There are still some good jokes in them though.

the only reason i ever get the chance to hate it is because channel 4 keeps showing the same frigging episodes. I don't think i've seen a simpsons episode on there that wasn't made post 1996.

i once had to sit in a starbucks for 2 hours listening to people quote that awful show. its not even that bad of a show, but the fans make it worse. i'll watch it if its on, but i would never make a point of it.

I think the worst one was when they went to Italy and found Sideshow Bob being the mayor of a small town. God that was lame.
I mean it was just plain rubbish. I was embarassed for them.

I quit watching a long time ago, but still remain interested. My boyfriend tivo-d it for us to watch tonight.... hm...

The passion for it died long ago. It shouldve ended in 2000. They shouldve made the movie then to have a nice way to say goodbye.

yeah...it's not as good as it used to be at all. i still watch it an insane amount, but....it's not normally funny anymore.

i agree, it's pants now. Should of stopped years ago. It's still the greatest comedy show ever mind, but i have to see a classic after not seeing it for years now to get great enjoyment.

I'm probably one of those fans....they have great lines though that can be applied to sooooo many situations.

It used to be the funniest, most cutting edge cartoon show at one time in the 90's, but since better cartoon shows came out, like family guy and adult swim, the simpsons just seems outdated and lame. It still has its funny moments sometimes, but it also has a lot of unfunny moments. I agree it probably should have ended a few years ago.
