horror - mute witness (this is more like thriller but it's dark enough to qualify, still it's one of the best movies i have ever seen)
family - antz (i remember watching this cartoon about ants and being very impressed)
teen - election (it's hardly exclusively about teens but it's about high school life) |

Very good movie... I think it's the only Swedish movie I've seen. I should definitly watch some Bergman's movies. | Beatiful thing is good, possibly great. The only "queer" cinema which I have really liked, most of what little I have seen I have either hated or been ambivalent about.
I'd love to see Festen on stage, I think most Dogme films would work pretty well in the theatre.
I've seen a few Bergman films, and they're very good, but Show Me Love just makes me really happy. Actually, now that I think of it, it's queer cinema too! I guess I like more than one after all... |
