Brando would never have permitted a movie to be made about him when he was alive.

the "sylvia"movie was awful. | Good one, considering only 2 of her films survived the red dust effect makes it even more interesting. I heard they were trying to reconstruct 'Cleopatra' from stills and clips but I don't know if they succeded.
Havn't seen either of the others, although I'm a little wary of the Page movie considering most of her fans know her as an icon that sells well at Hot Topic. |

I've been working on it for about a year and it's not really going anywhere.
I heard Hollywood had also tried to start a movie on her, but they thought her life wasn't exciting enough.
I beg to differ.. She had to lie about her ethnicity and heritage!! haha!
They said she was Arabian! A little blonde girl ! haha

Dolly Parton
I could totally see Charlize Theron playing her too..
She has managed to completely transform herself before. |

ANYTHING would be like a parody. | I once served a guy at BK that looked scarily like Brando circa 1970. I asked him if people often told him that he looked like Brando, and apparently they did. Who'd have thought? |

| | | [quote=bort]Fuck Courtney, how about a biopic of Frances Bean, with an all-KR amateur cast? I'd totally watch it. Is Gus van Sant available?

| | | I have enjoyed some biopics, but deep down I don't think anyone should have a movie made about their life, especially not without their consent. If I were a celebrity, I'd hate the thought of being portrayed by someone else in case they'd make a balls of it. Even if the biopic were respectful and all parties (subject, fans, creators, crtics alike) pleased with it, there's always going to be inaccuracies. Lots of people are liable to get a skewered impression of the celebrity based on the film. | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
