anyone seen this? thoughts?

i thought it was hilarious. at times.

mhm. i nearly cried when she broke her nose at the old navy. not because i was laughing. but because i know how it is to get that frustrated at old navy. luckily i haven't broken anything.

another thing. i like jennifer aniston in this movie. a lot. unfortunately, i had to follow this little gem up with Just My Luck. which is just my luck as it sucked. really bad.

i just wached Friends With Money last night, and loved it so much i was noticibly sad when it was over. I liked the characters so much, i'd have watched faithfully if it was a TV show rather than a movie.

I didn't get the one woman (i think she's played by Frances McDorman) with the greasy hair. Was it implied that she had/has cancer? or did i just imagine that all on my own...

is this where i can talk about how much jennifer aniston irritates me? or that i have a russian condom with her face on the package? whenever we see her on tv or a commercial or something, i usually shout "the Nose!" as that is my nickname for her.

i really liked it. i've enjoyed all of nicole holfcener's films, i just love that there are insightful movies being made with a prominent female perspective.

also, catherine keener is an actress that i am always eager to watch.

i liked it. i watched it so soon after going to see Little Miss Sunshine, that i wasn;t impressed like i would have been had it not followed that wonderful wonderful perfect movie.

i dreamed last night that i put up posters of jennifer aniston movies in my bedroom. friends with money was featured prominantly. i dont know why.

it seemed to be implied that she had cancer. thats what i got from all that. i dont think thats why she was so irate about everything though. i just think thats who she is.

i cant usually stand Jennifer but i really liked her in this movie...

i sort of grew tired of her for a bit, but this movie actually revived it.
i thought the other characters were more stand-out, but i loved the end of this movie.
the fat guy and her on a bed, haha. it was endearing.

I sorta found that relationship so dissapointing and unrealistic.....he was already supposedly a unemployed loser!! so he really didnt need to be so fat,greasy and ugly???...that's the aspect i found the most annoying...I couldnt believe her character would fall for that guy b4 she found out he alot of bling bling $$$$$

i wasn't quite sure what to think about this movie.
i thought it was really different, but still really good.
and the cast was awesome.
they were such a weird mix of friends.
jen's character was really weird, she kinda reminded me of her character in the good girl.
all in all, it was a pretty good movie...well, at times.

oh, and aaron, my sis-in-law made me watch just my luck the other night.
fuuuuuuck, worst movie ever.
and lohan looked really rough in it.

I suprisingly liked this movie. I enjoy catherine keener always but I wasn't totally sold on nicole holfcener. I've only seen walking and talking but wasn't very engaged with it. I think I have to watch it again. But yeah, it was realistic (like joan cusack and her husband loving each other and not having super fucked up issues)and not melodramatic and with good performances.

I kinda think that was the point. Of course it's not the type of guy you'd expect her to fall for, but she got to a point in her life and she didn't even know what the fuck she wanted anymore - she took a chance on a guy that was totally different then what she'd done in the past, and it finally worked for her.

I really didnt like this film at all. It was a good idea, but i didnt warm to any of the characters at all. I didnt really care about their stupid lives.

I just watched it. had been meaning to for ages.
I had read on other forums that people didn't like it, they felt it didn;t go anywhere etc.
This is my kind of film. No crazy plotlines; just people.
I loved the candour of the dialogue between characters although i felt it was maybe a little unrealistic- but maybe just my experience.
Interestingly i didn't really end up considering the role of money that much. More interesting was frances mcdormand's character's husband and his supposed gayness. It was fascinating that it was implied they still had regular sex and they appeared to really love each other and yet... he did seem really gay. i don't think he was though.. what do you think?

I don't really know what kind of 'issues with people' jennifer aniston's guy had at the end...

it was also fascinating how jennifer's character seemed to be completely inevitably drawn to assholes, like wtf? this guys lies around on the bed while you clean and then you give him a cut of your wages because he asks for it../. bizarro.

it was like reading a great novelist. the best part was in every sentence. the way the dialogue was crafted.
