| | | United 93 ok, so I saw this yesterday and I don't know what to think about it. It was emotional and moving and certainly scary but I'm not sure if I liked it.
I felt like I was watching National Geographic's special on United 93. Maybe that was the point. I mean there wans't much character development or any innovative or different approach to it, it was just a documentation of what happened. I guess it's valid but I don't know, I have mixed feelings about it.
What do you think? |

| | | the best part of this movie is that during one of its previews, some guy in the audience jumped up and shouted, "get those motherfucking snakes off the motherfucking plane!"

| | | i refuse to support this or the world trade center movie, or the made for TV movie about 9/11.
i think it's all a big push for money or politics, or both. in no way is it to memorialize what happened. we all lived through it, we know what happened. i dont need a movie to tell me again. |

I mean seriously, what's the point??? If the movie would've been innovative in some way, or at least had some character development, ok, but this was like just watching a documetary about it, and yeah, what's the point?? there are already like a million documentaries about what happened.
I saw one on National Goegraphic and I was horrified, I almost couldn't sleep from the fear of terrorists, it certainly was more moving than this movie. |

| | | I thought the movie was actually really weak until the last 2 minutes. I didn't feel anything until then, and I TRIED to the whole movie to let it touch me. |

it's very tasteful, has no bias, had the full blessing of the families of the deceased and also the director gave away the profits to 911 widows.
it's not like the oliver stone thing
it was rather too much like the documentaries but i still think it was very moving and interesting. |
