the editing is HORRIBLE. presenters will come on, and the music they play as they walk out, will play into while they talk, and you can't really hear, and when james blunt was giving an acceptance speech a random U2 sound clip interrupted him for like 8 seconds. and not a single person who's performed has sung live. wyclef wasnt even bothering to move his lips when performing.
and lil' john just tried to talk to the auidence, but you couldn't hear him because they were playing music over his talking, and then he asked the auidence to get up on their feet, and they panned to a shot of radio city, and like 1/5th of the people sortof stood up, then some sat back down. it was pathetic.

As far as who won, I'm pretty pissed off. How the fuck did Panic! beat RHCP? I just.. I don't understand it. I really really don't. It just makes absolutely no sense.
but Justin's performance was fantastic. That boy can fucking move.
Same for Beyonce.
Shakira dissapointed me. Her vocals weren't great, but her dancing was.
Panic! at the disco was awful live. The band was fine, but the lead singer my god. He was off all the damn time. it was really awful to watch.
The All American Rejects were really great live, though. Lots of energy, entertaining to watch, and they were fucking tight. They're more of a pop rock band but I really enjoyed their performance.
Overall I wasn't AS embarassed watching last night's show as I have been in the past. Eh. and haahh go Al Gore. |
