I loved the first one, but i thought both sequels were awful

I didn't realise the actress was in IT. the film of it is pretty good- I read the book recently, it was terrible

are you kidding me? the whole trilogy is smarter than most of the crap that's come out in the last 15 years. sure, the second two weren't as good as the first, but they were still smart and had their ups.

and IT? the movie was horrid. -terribly, terribly stupid. and Stephen King is a kickass writer.

i do think he's a great writer, but IT was terrible. it was written at the height of his drug addiction and it really shows. it's badly done, even though the story and characters are good. there's a lot of repetition, it's poorly paced, there's some paragraphs which barely make sense and the group sex thing at the end doesn't work at all

in comparison the film was better. although still not all that great

i've only seen the first one - we had to watch it at my college one afternoon its awesome!!
