Angry A cruel soldier @ Fort Bliss, Texas

I never met him. I heard all about him from my daughter. His name was Bandit. He was a small 4yr old scotty terrier mix her then-boyfriend got in his divorce from his wife. He spent most of his time with my daughter as the boyfriend is in the army @ Fort Bliss. She said he was affectionate, cute and round-fat, liked to sleep with her and played with the cats.
It absolutley breaks my heart to find out that when they broke up a cpl weeks ago this man took him out & dumped him on the side of the road outside El Paso Texas because he didnt want my daughter to have him. He wanted to hurt her so he did this cruel thing to Bandit. He knew she would have taken him, she had said so. She knew that if she couldnt keep him she could take him to our other house where we have other dogs - she has brought us homeless hounds in the past. He would have had a huge fenced safe yard, endless chow & a heated dog house. We would have taken care of him. When my daughter found this out he had been out there at least a week. She & her friends went out & tried to find him but of course he was no where to be found. This poor little guy was prolly a victim of coyotes, other dogs or mean people.
I never met Bandit but I feel great worry and guilt about the betrayal he must have felt. I hope the Goddess helped him find a home or at least was merciful and took him soon from the cold & starvation this little inside dog faced.
Bless you Bandit.

Oh my, lavenderboozer, that is so sad to hear!
I feel really sorry.

I've heard stories like that before, where spiteful people take revenge on others by hurting their innocent pets. It's a very awful and coldhearted way to deal with a problem, and it makes you so angry, because there's no words for how WRONG something like that is.

Did they also try and put up "looking for Bandit" posters or asked around
in animal shelters of the area?

Hm. One good thing that's probably sure is that your daughter will never
ever be tempted to go back to that **** of a man. At least that.

Thats true goere, there isn't a chance in HELL she will reconcile with him. He has tried to call/txt/email her and she ignores and deletes. She is well aware that anyone with kind of cruelty inside is a bad human at heart and capable of most anything.
He had the nerve to email me with holiday wishes and in return he got a scathing letter letting him know Karma is indeed real and it could come back to bite him in the *** on his upcoming deployment to the war zone.
My daughter went to all the shelters in El Paso but no Bandit. Because of overcrowding they only keep animals 48-72 hours and it had been like a week before she even knew Bandit was gone. She put him on the 'missing' lists just in case he gets picked up.
