| | My Cat Has Gone Missing i went out an hour ago to take out trash & she must have gotten out. i hope she comes home before the coyotes eat her!
i think the best thing to do is wait for her to come back, she knows where she lives, she did this twice before, and came back at 10 pm & 1 am.
i am so freaked out, i was talking to my neighbours, smoking & dring out back & my best friend is now gone. i know she felt left out.
she's been cuddling w/me in bed, but i can't take the heat & i'm withdrawing from vicodin & feel guilty.
i left the doors open, & will keep checking. why now? i feel like shit & should be roaming the streets calling her name - minnie, idk, she's not stupid. |

| | Cats are creatures of habit. The fact she did this twice before proves it.
Is it possible she could be somewhere right under your nose, so to speak? She could possibly just be hiding, cats are notorious for hiding.

| | | awww. I'm sorry.
Yesterday I though I had lost my cat. I hadn't seen her in over 24 hours and was getting really worried (no coyotes here..everyone lets their cats outside...it's fine) and she's getting really old so I thought maybe sth had happened... I was calling for her outside for ages and then all of a sudden she just came crawling from underneath my bed! haha. turns out she was just sleeping there... |

| | | I bet she's still in the neighborhood somewhere. Maybe if you start posting some posters a nice old lady who has seen your cat will bring it home to you. |

| | | i found her next door, she'e playing, had been under the building.
she refuses to come in, she's not done playing, & i can't force her, she'll bite me.
i know she's been bored & it's kind of cruel to keep a young cat in a tiny apt. she gets to sit in the window and see lots going on in the parking lot, trees with songbirds.
i do want another cat, a tabby.
i know that minnie, the cat outside atm, doesn't/isn't able to relate to me like my tabby cats did.
i'll go and see how she feels now. |

| | | she just wants to roll around in the dirt. she's by a main street & there are desparate coyotes after the fire in the mountains.
the first year of her life was spent outdoors. |

| | thank you!
she's needing a bath! i brushed her out, but her white fur is dingy. i promised i'd let her out again tomarrow. the weather was so nice, you can't blame her.
i really didn't think she survived last night. i slept w/ door open & woke up every hour. |

| | | Mods Delete Thread no, don't - i changed my mind. i feel so guilty, forcing this young calico to live in my tiny apt!
she didn't want to come in last night, having a good time rolling in dirt. and bolted when i set her down in front of my door.
i had to get her in before the news helicopters started their coverage of the march for right to marry - prop.8 - helicopters scare her.
is all i can do is get her a harness & i have a leash, so she can go outside and at least feel the sun?
i'd even consider having her adopted by someone who has a yard, children, other pets. it must be boring here. she has a window that looks out to the parking lot & there's a lot happening there.
i want what's best for her. i got her as a companion for my elderly tabby cat who died. she was a good playmate, very gentle.
i tried getting her a kitten to play with, it was a disaster cos the kitten had so much energy - too much energy. i wonder if adopting another tabby cat is a good idea. i can't do it now, as i can't afford it this month.
i could foster a cat, some organizations give you free vet visits, food, medicine, ect.
