| | Death I was on my way to school today when I saw a dying puppy. He was lying on the ground, barely breathing and twitching. I didn't know what to do, I had no money on me and I doubt there are free pet clinics or something.
Now I can't stop crying and feeling like a horrible person for not doing anything. I really really love dogs and I wish I could save and love all of them!
I suck and I do not deserve being this healthy. Animals shouldn't die of illnesses. It's not fair at all! *cries* |

Was there no one around with it? That's so sad.
When I was in Jerusalem over Christmas I found a sick kitten, but my friend convinced me not to try and take it to the vet, because Israel has such a problem with stray cats they'd just put it down if we weren't going to keep it I hope a lonely mummy-cat came and adopted it.

To answer your question: it didn't have an owner, and there were people around, but no one actually noticed the dying dog.
I know death is a part of life's natural course and all... but it still makes me cringe every time I see it staring so bluntly in my face. |

i mean. you could've at least pet him or something. or if you were afraid he had rabies you could've given him water? idk how shit goes down in romania, but if i saw a puppy on the streets i would have taken it to a vet. better it get euthanized than die on the streets.
but i'm a dog person.

i stopped but there was nothing i could do, besides a quick knock on a door of a small recording studio that was right near. they didn't come to the door. i think they were doing something illegal.
i got a call from this chick i know around 7am this morning.
she told me about an aquaintance that got into a car accident sunday.
noone found him/his car for over 12 hours and it was cold as fuck out.
they had to try to warm his body before they could even begin trying to help him. he didn't make it. it must've sucked being cold and dying outside like that. all alone.

| | | Yeah its pretty grim when you see dying animals. When we were in Thailand someone had thrown three puppies on the rubbish heap out in the boiling sun to die. 2 of the 3 had died by lunchtime, the other one didn't look far off. Problem is with that that there is nothing you can pretty much do save bash them over the head with a brick (if you are in a foreign country and somewhere where you probably couldn't find a vet even if you were to look for one) and I am too chicken to bash anything over the head with a brick. |

We don't have that many stray dogs here. When I was in T&T my heart was literally broken at the sight of all of them though My friend (who had been there before) was impressed because there were less strays than before, only we found out when we got back that it was because fuckers were collecting them and electrocuting them.
A lot of people didn't even care for their "pet" dogs all that well. You see some on like foot long chains and every rib popping out.
I would take in every stray and abused dog in the whole world if I could.
When we left I gave most of my remaining money to the TSPCA. I still have some money in a bundle with their address so I can mail them the rest.

I'm kidding you cunt faced trollop.
I know how you feel. I once was with my dad in a car and I saw a cat twitching and turning on the street, he had just been run over and we'll we couldn't really do anything and it haunted me for weeks.
Also this ASSHOLE LOW LIFE MOTHERFUCKER, those type of sick bastards that care about nothing but themselves, i can't even believe he was my friend, anyway he once told me a story about a cat who's hips had been broken and he had to crawl and his abdomen was all scratched and NO ONE of the people hanging out on the street helped him and the cat even fell in a seur, I mean what he told me was so horrifying, I mean I really couldn't believe what he was telling me.
I wanted to die.
I didn't want to live in a world were people are so callous and were innocent creatures like a cat can suffer so unmercilessly. It's horrible. Life is horrible sometimes.
For what it's worth I once heard a cat crying non stop while I was watching television and I had to go out and see and I saw a huge box filled with garbage and I realized the sound came from there and I just looked in the garbage and I found the tinniest most defenseless little black cat you can imagine, he was so small he hadn't even opened his eyes yet, again I wanted to die, I couldn't believe someone could be SO MOTHERFUCKING CRUEL that they would actually throw A LIVING CREATURE WITH NO DEFENSE WHATSOEVER to die a horrendous death.
I rescued the poor thing and took it to an aunt's house and we nursed him and took it to the vet, and I remeber the little cat sleeping peacefully in a basket we had set up, I mean it was so moving.
Unfortunately the cat died a few days later but at least his last days were not spent in suffering, at least he died in dignity.
I also found another cat once that couldn't walk, it was a kitten and I took him to the vet, he had broken hips and we chose to put him to sleep.
So, I know what you feel because I did not rescue that first cat but because I was in a moving car but if I happen to be walking and saw an injured creature I think I would help him so maybe you are an evil trollop?? or maybe not, I mean I know how you feel. |

USA death count is high but much, much higher then the countries we our at war with by elected officials who based a war on lies and rigged/stole an election.
I will shed a tear if we get Obama in office, a first colored.
I will spit and wait it out til 2012 if the GOP ticket wins.
Those suppresors.
Yeah people die every day. In accidents, in violence, in age or disease. Big deal. Thats what someone in a goverment think tank would tell you.
Look at the ethnic cleansing we did in Yugoslavia. Ethnic cleansing, an often used word and sad we would take part in it. I know that was Clinton era but pretty sure Obama is anti war and wouldnt think ha ha look at those puppies, big overpoulated country anways who needs a dog. Obama would never think that way, GOP think tanks do so just think like them. That puppy wasnt your repsonslbity and sure someelse came to help it. Im sure you werent the only one to pass it with other prorieties. Im sure someone took it home or took it to a safe no kill shelter. Dont feel guilty over something that is already the past. You used your best judgement in hindesight even though you couldnt use that judgement at the time.

Animals don't really grieve other animals, but a human suffering can cause suffering for a whole lot of other people. I think human suffering affects me differently mainly because we are capable of being moral and immoral. So human suffering saddens me depending on how moral the victim is or summat. I mean don't get me wrong, I hate to see any human suffer, regardless of how I feel about them. It's just that empathising with animals is less complicated because it's instant gratification, innit. Instant pain. |
