| | | So, anyway... I haven't made one of those 'OMG I'M PROBABLY GETTING MY PERIOD NOW BUT LET ME JUST PRETEND FOR ONE LAST DAY, NO WAIT, NEVER GONNA HAPPEN, BARREN FOREVER' threads in a few months, and if anyone noticed, perhaps they thought I calmed down a little. But of course that isn't what happened. I got pregnant! Thirteen weeks today, due in April.
It's odd how little time it took. Just about all of my hysteria about it was related to Mr. W. saying 'Uh, not yet,' and when I finally, at the age of 38, convinced him biology really does work that way, it sort of happened quickly. We started having unprotected sex in July 2007, but not using contraception was all we did about it. I apparently got pregnant in in February 2008, but I didn't know until I lost it in March. Only 7 months to concieve without really trying that hard isn't bad at my age. After we could try again in May, I started tracking my ovulation, scheduling the sex, etc., and it happened again at the end of July/beginning of August!
Well, what am I going to worry about now that it turns out I wasn't too old to get knocked up? Fortunately, parenthood provides a permanent answer for that one.

| | | Sort of - but all I can come up with is that I have no idea! I decided I probably want to know the gender just so we don't have to come up with two names.

| | | Thanks everyone! This place skews so young, I guess is pretty unusual for someone to get pregnant on purpose. Trust me, I'd have been freaking out if it happened accidentally when I was 20.
