My daughter is going to college starting today. jesus. so many different things could have happened and they didn't, it actually happened the way i allways hoped it would. my daughter is a student at ISU. starting today. she is intelligent and beautifull and just amazing. amazing. i'm soo godamned proud to be her mom. soo proud. all the mistakes i made and the bullshit we had to get through and we made it to this day. endings and beginnings.

that is one of the most beautiful things ive ever seen on this msg board. i could say more, but i will just say that i have felt that feeling within my family...expressed towards me but also ive expressed it towards my sister. my mother often tells me she feels like she feels like she's bursting with pride and happiness because im happy and independent. i hope your daughter knows this. at least for me, it gives me strength to become an amazing person...for them and for myself.

i've been reading a lot of books on tape

hey little crimson jewell (precious gemstone, not shitty blonde) i am doing well. i have been doing little me things with the money i'm saving not supporting an entire household on my own. moved into a townhouse in an outskirts housing develppment with my mom. honing my own little version of middleaged suburbanite. soo far: .pedicure tanning booth, and joining curves. i think i'm also supposed to get a weird frosty hairdo, but i don't think i'm ready for that yet.
