Yet another reason to want girls:
BBC NEWS | Health | Boy babies 'worse for depression'

I think I'd cry if I had a baby boy too.

hmmmm.

i guess in an ideal world i'd like one of each. although if the first time giving birth hurts too much i may just stop at one...

but i'm not sure i'd know what to do with a boy. i'm an only child, most of my cousins are girls and i went to an all-girls school from the age of 7 so i don't have much experience of little boys. nor do i have much experience of teen/pre-teen boys, other than in a "liek omg i fancy you" sense in my younger years. hmm.

when i was preg. with nicholas i wanted a girl and was kinda upset when i found out he was a boy but then when i was preg with nathan i wanted another boy, i thought nick needed a brother and it would just be nice to hae brothers close in age and then hae a girl like 5 years down the road and she would always be my baby,
jasons mom was really hopeing nate would be a girl because she really always wanted a girl but was unable to hae more children after jason because shes rh- and he is + and dident get the shot

i'm not totally sure i want children, but i think if i did i'd perhaps rather it was a girl. cos i've got so many ace names for girls but also i'd be at a bit of a loss with boys. i mean, i could see myself doing it as a single parent perhaps more than i could with a father, so what would i do when he started having hard-ons and wet dreams all over the shop?

the whole idea of having children/ giving birth makes me terrified. I think if I did I'd like to have a son and a daughter though, just to even things out. I can't imagine having just males in the house, I've never even lived with one boy let alone 2 or 3 or more!
The only plan I have for my future offspring is to hand them a guitar as soon as they are old enough to hold it

lilybet, get him a good book on puberty and an extra large laundry basket. i NEVER look under his mattres or touch any tissues in his room.
plus bringing up boys as a single mum increases their chances of growing up to be normal humans
