Almost to 28 weeks...

Phew! I have almost, almost, almost made it through to the last trimester. This pregnancy has seemed to last forever and I am having some bitchin' hip pain, damn sciatic nerve. It's so much worse now than the first time around, when I had it but it just wasn't like THIS....after standing on my feet for only about 10 minutes, my right hip goes completely numb from my hip to my knee on the front and side, and you can stab me with a fork and I can't feel it yet at the same time, my hip on the inside feels icy hot- like it's on fire but prickling with icicles. It's freaky. And so unpleasant.

I'm showing huge this time, too. already. I lost so much weight with my daughter from hypermesis that I ended the pregancy without gaining- I lost 20 pounds in the first half and by the end only gained about 13 of it back. I forget...but this time, I'm still morning sick but have gained about 15. It feels so much worse than the first time around, that little bit of weight makes a huge difference. My first baby was 7lbs 11oz...I am wondering if this baby is going to be bigger? But it seems like everyone I know who has big huge babies start out small and gain a ton of weight. The smallest people have the biggest babies, the biggest people have the smallest babies and the average people have the middle of the road, average size babies. Weird. By smallest babies I mean full term babies that are 5-6 pounds, average 7-8 pounds, and big babies 9 or more.
