| | | advice on pregnancy hey to all you mom's out there!! I am currently 16 weeks pregnant and I just wanted some advice on pregnancy from those women who has already have had a child. First off When do you start to notice your belly getting bigger? I'm still skinny and I haven't notice a difference at all, I'm worried that the baby isn't growing and what not. Also, how far along do you need to be to find out the sex of your baby ? And if you want to tell me anything else I might expect later on that would be great, thanks for your advice !! xo ally |

| | | Haven't you gone to the doctor and asked them these questions?
And my roommate is pregnant, and she said that you can find out the sex of the baby at 4 months. |

| | | i would definitely suggest asking your doctor these questions.
as far as when you show, it differs for everybody. some people don't show until they're really far along, and some can start to show at just a few weeks. it really depends on the person.
my sister didn't start to until she was near six months, but i had a friend who was pregnant and she started to show after maybe two months. |

| | | Some people show sooner than others one day you may wake up and noticed you have sprouted and when you do you might do a big growth spurt.
Around now infact you canf ind out the sex of the baby but generally doctors wait until 18-22 weeks along.
Later on you can expect to have more aches and pains, back pains, more ligament stretching, more movements, more heartburn, less appatitie by little room in your belly. Braxton Hicks contractions(practice contractions), more discharge. Towards the very end you may lose some mucus which is part of your mucus plug you may loose it all at once or a little at a time. It may be tinged with blood, thats a bloody show.
Pick up the book what to expect when expecting.
I dunno if this is the right information you wanted. Most that stuff is 3rd trimesterish so you still got a little ways to go. |

| | | Hi, I'm 32 weeks preggers with my 3rd son. I didn't start to show until I was about 6 months, it depends on your stomach muscles and build. I found out the sex at my 20 week scan which is average. | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
