Why? That's not my claim. It also places an unreasonable demand of my time when compared to the effort of lufts original claim. It also would require that I identify myself and prove my identity, which involves releasing personal details that I'm not willing to reveal to complete strangers.

"Y says Z, Y is an authourity, therefore Z is true" is a fallacious appeal to authourity.

"People who are Y say Z, therefore there is support for Z" is stating the opinion of authourities, not using their authourity to prove an unrelated claim. It not a fallacy to state the opinion of authourities, if the opinion is the claim.

There was no fallacy, so lump it.
