I love the Chaser too! (Sorry for getting all 'serious' with that last post.) And I agree about Michelle Leslie. I think she is pretty and quite glamorous, but some guys I know go 'Phwoar!' just when they hear her name mentioned. I can't see that she's that gorgeous. Maybe it's just that being female, the 'FHM' style photo shoots she did for a living don't get me off.

I DO give her credit for one thing: How many successful lingerie models can say they've been angrily denounced by their own government and every newspaper in the country, all because they've hinted that they'd like to SAY SOMETHING to the media, not just pose for photos in the media?

I know she wasn't going to speak in a context you'd exactly call feminist, but you know what I mean.

Saw on the news that five of the Bali Nine won their appeals and have had their sentences reduced to 20 years. Inexplicably, the court upheld the life sentence against one of them despite the fact he had done no more or less than the five who had their sentences reduced. The two "masterminds" lost and will still be executed.

Oh and a warning to all fans of cannabis who think it doesn't count as a drug.

In Bali, Indonesia, bringing a load of weed IN is apparently considered worse than smuggling loads of heroin OUT:

"Chief Judge, A. Pardede, also mentioned that their act is exporting and not importing, and therefore perhaps less dangerous to Indonesia. And they also mentioned that it can be seen - it should be considered in the context of the sentence of Schapelle Corby, which was put up to 20 years when she was importing drugs into Indonesia and not exporting."

I don't mean to make light of their situation. It's not like these young people, women and men, are about to be caned for graffiti. It's absolutely tragic for all of them. (Except Leslie I guess.)
