These kinds of articles don't encourage any kind of discussion or awareness, and any responses are of the "That's so sad  " or "That's fucked up  " variety. Not that they're not tragedies, but they're not something the whole world needs to be focused on. It's like a global version of the local "Action News," where the sensational big story is a drunk driver crashing into a house.
