| | I hope he lives too, Cuba will be raped and pillaged (AGAIN) by the US if he dies. There's too much natural beauty and un developed land out there- US real estate developers will surely rip it to shreds and charge millions for beach front property and pick up where they left off in 1959.
Assholes.

| | | Maybe Cuba could be purchased by the Federal Government and turned into a Natioal Wildlife Preserve. The environmentalists, such as Mr Gore, could demonstrate some purpose and peaceful resolution to an age old problem. Then organized crime can take eco-voyages on gambling ships back and forth. Lots of money could be made and the preservation of a unique human culture could be maintained for the benefit of future generations. The Cuban medical system has demonstrated the commitment to the maintenance of the human species--we wouldn't want to let capitaism destroy that. |

| | yes about Cuba and democracy, that may come but after Castro dies there will definitely be a period of chaos. poverty, death in the streets, dystopia.
it is a shame, all their coral reefs and mountains are in such pristine condition. after bush gets involved it will all be just like OUR wildlife...ruined. |

| | | Castro's gave power to his brother whilst he's in hospital tho so if anything did happen wouldn't his bro be the new leader of Cuba for the meantime?
Saying that the photo I saw of his brother made me say out loud "but he looks like he's going to keel over at any minute too!!!" :P |

Why do we have to crusade for "democracy"? If Cuba had asked for our help, that would be different, but I haven't heard that they have. |

| | Oops , Castro is on his Death Bed trying to complete some last three hour speech before the end comes..
Raul is a very weak leader and is in hiding...
Raul knows we are coming to take him out too.
Fuck those people why do people give money to those people... This girl I know told me how the Castro's people killed her parents in a firing squad as she watched...
The people of Cuba are stronger than Castro and Raul put together… Castro and Raul are very old senile men…
The Cuban Army can just ignore Castro and Raul..
There is going to be a super big celebration upon Fidel Castro’s death…There is going to be a superb Fire works show, all the bars will be open Non Stop….Its going to be a Miami must attend party…
Miami Police has emergency party plans in place meaning they are going to block certain road from vehicle traffic so the people in Miami can have the must attend party as soon as Fidel Castro dies…
I just have one question… Why is everyone in Cuba so afraid of placing their hands around Castro’s throat so he can let go and just die… Who the hell in their right mind want to listen that old man babble his non sense.. |

Moron. | Why is everyone so afraid of dying?
Death is a very natural experience in which each and every one of use will experience in less than 90 years…
May I gloat that at least when I dye there will not be people celebrating my death….
Every time I hear the name of Fidel Castro I am constantly reminded of a girl I knew who her parents where shot to death by a Fidel Castro firing squad as she was forced to watch.
Please do not be angry at me…
I am not the one withholding the Cuban people freedom.
I am not the one who orders firing squads..
I am not the one separating family member for over 50 years from seeing each other… |

The U.S. with President Kennedy's blessing told a select group of Cubans to form up and be ready to take Castro out of power.. And the U.S. was going to send in reinforcements and air cover.
The select Cuban people formed up are ready when without warning the Americans canceled there plans without warning... and someone snitched to Castro alerting him... Castro captured the Cuban liberators and killed them all in a public execution as American people watched on TV.
The U.S. owes the Cuban people big time for that big stab in the back crap. |
