Ditch the sinking ship. | I know this invitation wasn't personally extended to me, but I figure I can stay in the country where I was born if I want to hear all day every day how I'm the cause of all the problems in the world. It would be for completely opposite reasons than I hear it now, but after a while that doesn't matter so much (and living in NYC probably means I hear it less in person than I would living in Europe)

But one of the things that's good about it is that people can move somewhere they like better without government permission. I couldn't actually move to England unless I was marrying a citizen or being sponsored by an employer or something (well, I guess if I was independantly wealthy I could, but as far as I know, I have no right to a job there without a British spouse or an employer sponsor).
