which is scary. between the lack of stability in iraq, north korea, iran and their nukes, increased global terrorist activity (or maybe activity levels are the same, we're just giving it more attention), divided political opinions, i'm convinced i'll live through WWIII.

And global terrorist activity has increased. The US actually stopped taking the data in 2004 because it was making us look bad. Colin Powell had trumped the fact that terrorism was down and then had to admit that was a mistake.
