Right. Because everyone tells their stories of statutory rape to the police or a DA if they want to keep it to themselves.

I lived in GA for 6 years but no one would take me out to Atlanta just to eat...but I wanna go there so bad! (I hear the food is wonderful)
Yes, the food is wonderful and they're one of the few vegetarian restaurants that have beer and wine.
I just saw a sign the other day that a new vegan restaurant is opening up soon, which is good because we lost one this year.
When you're in town, we should go out to eat!

It used to be, but lately I just seem to get grief.

ha...if it weren't that I already knew a lot of people there, I probably wouldn't. (Well, except for Savannah or something like that)

Vegan restaurants? In Georgia?! (When I lived there, I was down the street from a restaurant called "Buddy's" AKA Fried Food/Redneck Central)
ahh, one of the reasons I moved to Chapel Hill was because it was supposedly "veggie friendly" but the one veggie restaurant that I found out about closed just before I moved here.
A lot of restaurants in this area have a few token vegetarian items on their menus, and we have a lot of health food markets, but we have no restaurants dedicated to vegetarians (let alone vegans). *is grumpy*

Yay...my husband wants to go to Georgia for our anniversary when the time comes, and I'm hoping I can talk him into going in that direction to visit that restaurant. (and hopefully sidetrack the redneck territory)

I said THE POLICE HAVE THE RIGHT TO DO IT THEMSELVES IF THEY WITNESS IT OR HAVE EVIDENCE.

Don't be so lazy. If you forgot the question, go back a couple of posts. But just so you don't have to, I'll ask again- you said you think that passing laws specifying statutory rape automatically for those under a certain age enables the sense of powerless that young women feel. I asked do laws against rape do the same thing? Like maybe we shouldn't have any laws against rape because it just enables the feeling of powerless amongst it's victims?
