Stop stirring! I like to think the best of people until proven glaringly otherwise. Plus since my field is sort of racism studies, I am one of those people that political correctness-hating types would expect to be accusing everyone of racism left, right and centre. I like to defy that stereotype whenever I can.

True that, I can understand that last bit especially - always hateful to have everyone assume you're some sort of oversensitive type when it comes to all that.

I've just known neale for a long while, and he really is a bit racist. Though that's not as accurate as 'old school British imperialist holdout.' Which is also slightly inaccurate, but it's mostly just the views on race that he holds out on, a lot of the time.

Oh, except for Jews, of course. He's incredibly racist against them.
