ophiel's post was going dangerously close to the area of ascribing some responsibility to the victim
and yes, we all (males and females)have a responsibility for our own safety, but people do get drunk. and i do think drunk consent is still consent, but i hardly think that this was the case. and even if it is, i highly doubt any consent was for gang rape, anal rape and beatings whilst being photographed. i daresay she sobered up pretty quickly

i would like to clarify that when i say SOCIETY i mean EVERYONE in it. not one gender or the other.
furthermore aren't you treating women badly by saying they act like dumb whores? i think women do stand up for one another. it was a girl who called the cops in this instance. and in another similar incident that happened local to this one, it was girls who pulled an unconscious teenage girl out of a gang rape by a local college baseball team.

i am referring to things like that^ and shocking things like interviews with teen girls after the whole rihanna incident, where they were basically saying that if you get in a man's face or read his blackberry you should expect him to get violent. etc
calling yourself a feminist is highly uncool, and people who talk about women's rights etc are seen as serious, no fun, man hating dykes. generally.
