Yeah, I heard that she called her friends to tell them she had ended up outside, they wouldn't let her back in and she'd find her own way home. She never made it home - her purse and phone were found in a parking lot close to the venue.

So we can't actually blame Metallica for this? Annoying. And why are this band still touring? Gross.

okay so i watched nancy grace last night and basically YES she was with her friends inside the concert and then went to the bathroom but somehow she ended up outside the arena and called her friends telling them that she wouldn't be able to come back in and that she would find a ride home.

here is a timeline i found online:

8:20 - 8:30 - Harrington outside Arena at front and the side facing U-Hall
8:30-8:48 -Harrington at various locations outside arena
8:48 - friend calls and offers other entry door suggestions, but Harrington says she’ll try to get a ride home from “friends around Charlottesville”
8:48 - 9:00 - Harrington still in the Arena area
9:00 - 9:10 - Harrington walking with purse through U-Hall parking lot “around” and “walking in the same direction”— but not necessarily “with”— other people
9:10 - 9:20 - Harrington in the RV Lot with “limited interaction” with witnesses
9:20 - some witnesses leave in vehicles
9:20 - 9:30 - Harrington walks on the Copeley Road bridge near Ivy Road

i think it is so weird that she was so excited about going to this concert and then ended up outside. like everyone in the world knows that some places don't allow ins and outs (LAME but that's a rule of some venues) and wouldn't she have asked someone working there or wouldn't someone have mentioned something as she was walking out that there was NO INS AND OUTS like i've left something in my car before and i wanted to go get it and one of the door people would be like : "sorry you can't leave because if you leave you won't be able to get back in"

i just don't understand that part.! was no one working the doors??? and what was she thinking? first off , who let's a girl go to the bathroom alone at a concert anyway sounds like her friends don't know anything about looking out for each other.

well, i've worked at a venue and when you have 20,000 people you can't manage in and outs. it's too hard and time consuming.

how did she get outside the arena and why? the bathrooms are not outside?
