It's a weird combiation of trashy 'reality' and actual, harsh reality. Like a less severe version of Dead Set. Which reminds me, I didn't see that CBB but Charlie Brooker seemed insistant that Jade was the one in turn most targetted by the media because she was easiest to hate, rather than the most racist.

Also in that pic I thought the vultures were supposed to be spelling out 'paki' - rather, it looked like 'daki' straight away and I thought I was missing something, I'm not am I? Or am I just a subconcious projectional racist.

the thing i find weirdest about it all is that i dont know anyone that has gone through cancer treatment/had a terminal illness, so i find myself getting caught up in the emotion of it because it is so awfully sad, and not something im usually party to, but then i remember i dont know these people

I think its horribly sad that she's going to die just past her mid-twenties and leave behind two kids who are so young they'll probably never really remember her, plus I think all in all she's not had a great life (despite a few years of "celebrity-doom"). I do find it a bit weird all the reality-tv to the death stuff, but then again one I guess she wants to provide for her kids and two, its what she's done for most of her adult life so I guess she probably can't think of another way to function. People do weird things surrounded by/ in the face of death.
