Can't intervene on what hasn't happened yet. However, the parents of those kids could bother to find out wtf they're up to every now and then and with whom unless they think that's a little too inconveniencing for them which is tough shit.

I noticed China wasn't on the list. Not surprising though. For one, they keep their affairs in general under wraps.
Two, murder rap doesn't get you deluxe accommodations in a cell. Instead you get marched out back and disposed of and it doesn't take 20 years of appeals. Then most likely they'll cash in on your organs.
Lets face it after 11 years of gangster rule in the UK the young seem to have no-one to look up to....Blair kills thousends he gets MILLIONS so untill the people at the top committing acts of treason, theft, invading other Countrys etc etc etce and getting away with it, the kids will keep on killing.
11 years of being tough on crime and tough on the causes of crime............let the criminals in power both in industry and in parliament be sacked and jailed..then kids MIGHT see crime doesn't pay.
Makes me feel even more comfortable on the 2nd Amendment ruling here. (Which was silly it had to be an issue in the first case)
Why bother with apathetic cops when you can protect yourself instead.
London's knife crime problem isn't what the press makes it out to be. They sensationalise it because frightened people buy papers. The reality is that the crimes they're talking about were motivated rather than opportunistic, and mainly largely confined to London, but the coverage is aimed at someone sitting in some little town who can convince themselves that anyone under 30 is DEFINITELY a gang member who will DEFINITELY knife them personally.
The 2nd Amendment doesn't gain much leverage from these incidents. Think about it: a guy gets stabbed. You say, if he'd been able to buy a gun, it wouldn't have happened, right? But the guy's been stabbed with a weapon that's already legal. Meaning that he could (and obviously should) have been carrying one too. But he wasn't. So, in the same situation, it wouldn't make any difference if the guy was legally allowed to carry a gun: if we wasn't carrying a knife, what makes you think he'd be carrying a gun either? Meantime, the guy who was carrying a knife would be more likely to be carrying a gun instead.
You've made this argument I don't know how many times, and the simple truth is, unless everyone is carrying the maximum level of weaponry that is legal, at all times, legalisation of firearms doesn't make a law-abiding citizen any safer. And because they are law abiding citizens, they don't want to carry them.
I don't mean to sound...insensitive...but London has only had 33 teenaged deaths this year? England does a hell of a lot better than American cities.
British, don't take it the wrong way. I'm amazed that a city like London doesn't have a larger intake of victims. Take it as a good thing.
This is true. It's also very much focused on London; there's not a proportionate amount of this type of crime across other population centres (i.e. city A has 1,000,000 and 33 deaths, therefore city B with a population of 100,000 has 3.3 deaths).
The importance of this is that there is obviously something causing this in London, rather than the "Anarchy in the UK", society-going-to-the-dogs rhetoric that's seeing people in towns of 30,000 people or so convinced that they live in fucking Compton.
I don't know why everyone is so keen to believe that crime is spiralling out of control and that everything's "fucked" and so on, but they are. The irony is, people in the centres of big cities seem a lot less frightened to go out at night than people way out in the suburbs. I do wonder if that's just an excuse/denial about the reality that these people have no social lives, hence no reason to go out at night, due to having kids and careers. But that's just speculation.
