Even know I never meet them, I hate to hear about people dying. His son just graduated from Boston College too. How sad. He really did seem like a cool guy...unlike most stuffy politician types.

Sad news. I guess he was doing what he loves most; not a bad way to go.

I'm so sad about it. We watched him every Sunday morning, even if we were drunk the night before. I remember being annoyed that tennis was on this past Sunday. UGH

I just love how truly balanced he was. He'd go after a Dem the same way he went after a Repub. He was all about the facts and he presented his questions/arguments well. I have so much respect for the guy. His kind is truly a dying breed. The news is just garbage most of the time nowadays.

Oh man I fell over myself walking on the street when I past the headlines that reported his death. That made me so sad. Jennings was my favorite.

I didn't watch Meet the Press often, but what has struck me since Russert's passing is how much genuine respect both conservatives and liberals hold for him. It's a testament to his fairness. He seemed like the perfect man for his job.
