It is pretty mind boggling that the authorities allowed him to legally adopt three of the kids that he put on his own doorstop with a message on (from the daughter) saying to look after them. I mean, SURELY there must have been some clues that the guy wasn't really normal. And yes, he did claim she ran away but weren't the police a little suspicious that she never used her passport/drivers license/bank account again. God, it must be such a head fuck for the kids that lived with him and his wife "Yeah, actually he is your father AND your grandfather and he has your mother/sister locked up in the basement like a breeding cow". Yes I found this whole story insane. Aparently they also had lodgers in the house, so you'd think at least one person would have heard something especially when the woman in the basement gave birth 7 times and the dad was moding out the basment over a number of years.

this whole thing is absolutly disgusting! he kept her locked down there for 24 years and is only given 15 years! i dont care how old he is, his sentence should be life 3 times over! it's such a terrible and shocking story. not only has the daugheter been through hell and back, but poor kids in all this! so sick and surreal, it's just mind boggling!
