| | | Fao Londoners: May 1st is this Thursday.
Please don't vote Conservative.
I'm quite depressed at the number of my friends who are, or who are voting tactically just to keep the Tories out.

| | | I'm voting Green (Sian Berry) even though I usually vote Lib Dem (Paddick has no personality and his background will make him completely wrong for the job IMO)...
Berry's not one of the "front-runners" so my 2nd vote is for Ken, sadly, should it come to a stand-off between him and Johnson I'd prefer the devil we know...
I have had great fun/vitriol reading all the manifestos and watching the election broadcasts... the English Democrats certainly are this year's "not racist" tosspots, and the blurbs the "real" voters the BNP showed were hilarious ("we should celebrate Christian festivals like St Patrick's Day, not Ramadan and Eid!").

I'm not a huge fan of Ken either, but he does seem to really love London.

boris is an obnoxious public schoolboy racist cunt and needs to fuck off back to his big house in islington that's worth 'shedloads of money'

| | | I would vote Ken were I living in London properly. I‘m moving back soon and the thought that boris could be mayor scares me.

i wish i got to vote, but i live just outside the eligible zone, it pisses me off cuz all the way to work i see the adverts reminding people to vote, and some cretin has erected a massive boris campaign sign in their front garden. |

There's way more choice if you're voting against Boris than if you're voting against Ken, which will atomise the vote.
Ken should be running on the slogan:
KEN LIVINGSTONE: EVERYONE'S SECOND CHOICE. |

Originally Posted by Duchess I'm not a huge fan of Ken either, but he does seem to really love London. | ...that at least Ken has an understanding of how life is for people of more diverse backgrounds than Boris does. I would trust him far, far more to run the city than Boris. Who is a wanker, by the way. Amusing at times, but that doesn't make someone a good politician.
The first time I went to London, I saw Ken and I got very excited and waved frantically. And he waved back and I was happy.

| | | boris johnson may pull the 'i'm a harmless funny goon' act but that is just a smokescreen for some pretty ugly opinions. the man is a cock, and not half as stupid as he likes to portray. i dont like any of them, but necessity would make me vote for the option that would keep boris out (ken). |
