My friend works about 100m away from the school, and says the mood in the city is awful at the moment, as you can imagine. There's been footage of celebrations in Gaza, and to be honest I'm surprised that Israel hasn't retaliated (though probably because they don't know if the gunman worked for anyone?)...

I empathise with the "getting fucked off". I'm not objective on the situation, I'm subjective from both sides...
Tonight my friend was drunk and ranting about how the UN should move in, establish a single state in the area and force them to live together under an appointed Government.

i think the UN should move in and remove absolutely everyone. confiscate it from them because they're like kids fighting over toys.

turn it into a national heritage site or something. or just bulldoze it into the mediterranean sea.

I'm going to Israel this summer...hopefully they will take back their land by then.
