We're not sunk yet. Hillary still has some big states she can win. The delegate count is still close and if Michigan and Florida are allowed in that could give her a big boost. Even after tonights sweep, Obama is still way short of the nomination.

I heart this man.

Senator Obama was greeted by a rousing reception at a Democratic Party dinner in Richmond, Virginia.

"It's true I talk about hope a lot. I have to. The odds of me being here are not very high.

"I was born to a teen mom. My dad left me when I was two. I was raised by my single mom, my grandparents, and they didn't have a lot of money, they didn't have a lot of status. They could give me love, and education and hope," he said.

"This is our moment. This is our chance. There is a moment in the life of every generation where that spirit of hopefulness has to come through. Where we cast aside the fear and the doubt and the cynicism."

they had only expected under 100 people in each district in my city to show up; instead over a thousand came to each district so they made an emergency decision to switch over to casting votes. it was something of a clusterfuck, but obama won my district with over 1,000 votes. hillary got 200.

that happened in kansas all over. we ended up just signing our name and there was no negotiating. more than 70% of the people who showed up were for obama and had no hesitancy. it was astounding.

if people vote for hillary but wont show up in a caucus for her, why do you think that is? the only thing i can think of is shame, but how could anyone be ashamed of their candidate?

So votes for Huckabee and Romney aren't exactly shocking. I just need to take note to avoid the states where they got the most votes.
Well, McCain is considered less "conservative" than Bush among Repugs so I see teh McCain votes as the "disappointment in Bush policies" vote. However, it just goes to show you how retarded the Republicans are (which is pretty consistent when I think of our Republican acquaintances east of the Cascades). I mean, these goofballs were total warmongers/Arab haters in 2003.

Although McCain is a piece of work himself. Total mixed messages with regard to war.

I'm with you on Bush being elected twice. It was a total punch in the stomach. But ppl did not "trust" Kerry. (It was like wtf? You trust Bush more than him? )
