Bob Wright was also the chairman of NBC until May 2007 and owns GE. So if you wonder why the worst cases of autism are brought up on Oprah and Dr. Phil, now you know why.

Autism Speaks is currently using the millions they've raised for genetic testing on autism so that in the future it can be included into prenatal testing so that parents may choose to abort their autistic child. The test will of course not be able to reveal low functioning vs. high.

NT Speaks was a parody site of Autism speaks. The parody site was run by a 14 year old autistic teen. Bob Wright threatened to sue for $90,000 claiming the site was infringing on copyright and was taking traffic away from their fund raising campaign which was a lie, the site didn't even receive many hits.

The teen who is from the UK couldn't countersue so Bob Wright scared the teen into giving up the domain to him.

To counter that, other members from the messageboard Aspies for Freedom bought out ntspeaks.com and .net.

They promise to not cave into Bob Wright's demands and high powered lawyers.

The blog posted doesn't seem to have been able to clarify whether Wright threatened to sue (should probably have asked the kid as well as Autism Speaks), but even if he didn't, I think this is quite telling:

Is it? Does any organisation actually benefit from demonstrating the complete absence of any kind of sense of humour, fairness, perspective or decency? Is scientology more credible than Christianity for not to taking a light touch on its detractors?

The owner of Autism Speaks has no sense of humor. The good news is, the shortened version of the parody lives on under new bought domains

Before the parody was taken down, it gave warning symptoms of neurotypical behavior in contrast of the latter.

Not all autistics are what is shown on the media which is actually operated by this Bob Wright guy.

There is little focus on how the autistic person has difficulties inside their own lives but more focus on the poor parents who must struggle with their demonic autistic child. There have been some sketchy warnings in the past from new names on their board that shown up pissed off at those with higher functioning autism speaking up about what is really going on in their lives telling them You will regret even being diagnosed with HFA.

Lower functioning autistics that cannot verbally communicate can and do use the computer or write. There has been this wave of skewed information on autism thanks to this jerk who supports eugenics.

Cure Autism Now is also apart of it. So take this as a warning against a charity that seems to want help autistics but not in the way you would imagine.

Right now, there is also a school for autistics and handicapped children that get electroshock treatment for not corresponding. One girl got shocked for asking for a tissue after sneezing!

Fucking hell, is that school real? I'm not against the behaviourist approach per se, but that's just going too far!
