Sure enough, some of those pictures are breathtaking, and until now didn't form any part of my perception of Iran, but I can't say I suddenly feel any differently on whether they ought or ought not to be bombed.
Explain your logic. |
The media shows the images they want others to see to make the place seem like it's just nothing but uncivilised scum and some people who are classist use that alone as a good reason to bomb.
The truth is, yeah their laws do blow but who are we to bomb their citizens who are alot like us just trying to live over their fascist government?
Everytime America comes in to appoint leaders, it gets worse. The more we meddle and hypocritcally tell others what they can and can't do while we are allowed to do those same things, the more others revolt against us.
It's their land, their laws. Iran also has Russia as allies. This would start World War 3 in no time.
There was a time when America set good examples. We are at a recession right now. The longer this war goes on, the less stable America is economically.
It doesn't seem logical nor does it seem fair to lump all certain types of people as the same as terrorists and take swipes at their unfair laws, use women as examples but have Saudi Arabia as an ally when women in Saudi Arabia are executed if caught driving.
So if you were to rewind and listen to George Bush after the 9-11 attacks and replace "They want to impose their way of life on us" to "We want to impose our way of life on them" and do that to alot of the statements he has said, it would be more accurate.
Right now we have Ted Bundy in office.
