| | I like Kucinich as well! I wish he could be the nominee, but unfortunately we all know that probably one of the front runners will win it...
I would also like it if Gore would get into the race |

| | | Yeah Kucinich was the only to use the word.. peace.
I still don't understand how the democrats can't stop Bush, not even stop the funding of the war...continuing the loss of life for US troops.
More US troops have died in Iraq than on 9/11. |

| | | Kucinich is probably too liberal for America to digest. To be mainstream enough, politicians obviously have betray their values to a certain extent to get enough backing from the "parties". I don't know enough about him, but he seems to be too good for American politics. |

| | | I agree with some of Kucinich's points in general - such as advocating peace. I didnt' see the debate, but I think he is pretty irrelevant at this point. He advocates immediate withdrawal. That is irresponsible, and it isn't going to happen... and shouldn't. |

I can see how some of these candidates are just WAY too intelligent for the american public. Maybe when the issues get complicated, people just feel safer going for the candidate that dumbs down and explains everything is simple terms..like Bush did..fascist. |

I'm pretty sure she advocates a phased withdrawl with a timeline attached to the funding so she can put it on record that she's "against the war but for the troops." Not sure about Obama though.

He was famous for refusing to sell Cleveland Electric
Illuminating, one of the last municipal power companies. At the time this was criticized, now its
a pretty popular decision.
On the other hand Cleveland went into default in this period.Of course the entire rust belt economy was collapsing, so that might have something to do
with it.
He's also strong on health care.Trouble is, no one
else in his party will back him up, which just makes him a stocking horse to bring leftists back into the dems.
I like Gravel too, he really says it, but he'll be doing well if he just lives to the election. | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
