The fact that the papers seem to focus on the GAY men going to orgies sickens me.
They weren't as much orgies as supposed to private sex parties.
It's not like there were 20 people there, they intentionally lured victims to their home and drugged, raped and in some cases injected them.
You can't do that when there's 20 people in your house.
And this could have happened to straight people just as easily, like straight people never attend private sex parties.
And what sickens me most is that the worst crime they can be charged with is grave molestation. (haven't even heard rape or kidnapping/drugging being mentioned!)
I think when you intentionally rape someone and inject your HIV positive blood into them, knowing you are HIV positive, it's at least attempted murder.
Last time I checked AIDS still kills you.
This whole thing is but I've not yet heard anyone say the country is now "questioning it's liberal sex culture".
Things like this can happen in Rome too, and that's pretty anti gay.
So the story is VERY well written.
