Im not overtly interested in the Clinton,Gore and Kerry lovers, as Im expecting 3/4 of here to say they are American Democrats and that would make it a bit bland. Im more interested in the reponses of right wing Americans and what the rest of the world votes for.....just to hear different views

There is no party that embodies all the qualities I look for, and the ones that come closest (those who seem to hold effecting social change close to heart anyways) don't have a hope in hell of being federally elected (NDP | The New Democratic Party of Canada)


Ideally, I would vote for the party who has the right knowledge and public support to bring us into an economically prosperous yet social and environmentally conscious future.

yeah i dont find much for me in mainstream political parties, but i habitually vote green even though i have some fundamental problems with them.
i have been involved with some of their stuff, but the most interaaction ive ever had with a political party was trying to beat off respect when they were doing silly things at my uni (after we had helped them as well!) that party has some really worrying stalinist tendencies.

Alliance for Workers' Liberty

"For workers' power and international socialism"

A few facts

1. They have been going since the 1970's and have gone through various names - Workers' Fight, International-Communist League, Workers' Action, Workers' Socialist League, Socialist Organiser Alliance, before becoming the Alliance for Workers' Liberty in 1991

2. The AWL does not stand candidates of it's own. In Scotland, we support the Scottish Socialist Party. In England and Wales, we support independent socialist candidates where we can, but we are also members of the Labour Party, inside which we fight for socialist politics and policy.

3. Workers' Liberty in Australia is our sister organisation. We also have links with militants inside the LCR in France, Solidarity in the USA, plus militants in Israel, Finland, Germany and Ireland.

and WHY are you for them?

Because I'm a communist. Duh.

Yes - in fact, I am the AWL organiser (secretary) for South West London.
