| | | looking for Ben Laden... as i work as a scientific, i sometimes hear about crazy things, like:
american government givs a reward to anyone who could improve geophysical detection by plane, to know where Ben Laden is hidden: they want to detect his radio emissions thanks to high technology material.
i'm pretty serious. not joking at all.

| | | Either are acceptable, since it's transliterated from Arabic. That's why the Libyan dictator's name is spelt as Qadaffi, Kadaffi, or Gadaffi, depending on where you're from. French seems to use Ben, because "Bin" would produce an incorrect sound. Fascinating. |

| | | bin laden isn't using anything that emits radiowaves anymore.
a couple months ago we had him within a 1 sq. mile radius, through tracing the waves from his satellite phone. then the new york times posted an article about that exact same topic, and obviously, the phone usage and ability to be tracked stopped.
it was a pretty big story. |
