Here in Chicago even liberal radio show hosts are taking Imus side. They think being suspended for two weeks is enough.

I think Al & Jesse need to settle down. Both have used what might be considered offensive language to describe Jews. Jesse with his "Hymie town" comments and big Al calling Hasidic Jews "diamond merchants"

It's hard to say what the I-Man deserves though. He didn't come right out and use racist slurs, but he did make ****ty, stereotypical comments. You get into a "what's the level of his racism" debate which I think is futile. Like I said, racism is alive and well in this country -- on all sides.

It's a shame because Imus is fairly liberal, so you have wonder what the conservative factions of this horrid country are capable of saying. They can't even get behind basic science let alone progress?
