Stupid, inept United States Laws...

As you hear about U.S. troops dying in Iraq everyday think about this..

Out of the 3000 U.S. troops killed in Iraq just under 2000 of them were under 21.

The people who create the laws created the law you have to be 21 and over to drink and at the same time you can be under 21 to die in Iraq.

Dozens and dozens of the under 21 U.S. troops killed in Iraq had fines, been arrested for drinking under age.

My point is what the HELL are those people in Congress tripping on? Extra Crackled Meth?

The people running the country are just creating policies that sound good on paper but are not effective in accomplishing much.

The people in Congress are hypocrites and are creating laws to prove the hypocrisy.

I do not understand why the people are just standing by like everything is fine and dandy?

How many laws about the 21years old to drink are there?

There is no point, but here's a few random facts:

The law about being 21 to drink was brought into effect about 25 years ago.

Americans used to have to be 21 to vote, but that was changed during the Vietnam War. There's a line about it in Eve of Destruction: Old enough to kill, but not for voting.

I remember it, although I was not 21 or even 18. Mr. Wildwomyn actually turned 21 in that year, after having turned 19 in the year that the drinking age was raised from 18 to 19.

My point is why not also raise the age of joining the military? If your not adult enough to drink then you not old enough to fight and die...

There are about 10,000 injured troops under the age of 21 who lost an eye, leg, arm, and/or are paralyzed.

Yeap the President will not talk about that...

The Number of injured U.S. troops is as high as 40,000.

I will acknowledge this thread, and say that the department of defense has gone as far as discharging sailors/soldiers/marines for underage drinking, along with the fines and extra duty as punishment.

This is what I am talking about... You are old enough to die in Iraq but your not old enough to have one beer without getting punished.
